Chicken is all white meat, super tender- just wonderful. The Kung Pao is spicy enough to make my nose run - in a pleasurable way - and that spicy sauce also has a sweetness and umami that is very delicious and pleasing. The rice is fluffy and perfectly cooked, and it's balanced with little bits of scrambled egg, fresh tasting green peas and carrots. ![]() Barbecue pork fried rice sports abundant pieces of barbecue pork with just the right amount of sweetness and super tender, no gristle, no bad bits. I grunted with pleasure when I bit into one. The meat is tasty, the wonton wrappers thin, and they are fried to the perfect crispness. The fried pork wonton are super crispy tightly packed little packages of yum. They have a very nice wine list and I really loved this one. ![]() The wine - a Cabernet with the last name Sisquoc - was sublime. Came for dinner and got deep fried pork wonton appetizer, kung pao chicken, barbecued pork fried rice and a glass of wine. Okay - so my previous reviews could only rave about the wonders of their wonton soup and how it is really maybe the best I've ever had, because it was just so damn good I ordered it over and over again. ![]()
